05 May Round Table – “Challenges and Opportunities for Development of the Social Economy in Republic of North Macedonia“
Citizens` Association Center for Promotion of Sustainable Agricultural Practices and Rural Development – CeProSARD within the project Support to Social Enterprises by following the principle – “Leave no one behind“, at the Center for Support of Social Enterprises on 04.05.2022 starting at 10 : 00 held the event – Round table on “Challenges and opportunities for development of the social economy in the Republic of North Macedonia“.
The event is organized as part of project activities that aim to support social enterprises and find solutions to meet their needs. To improve the working conditions and capacity of social enterprises in the Republic of Northern Macedonia and to support the development of potential and existing SEs to significantly increase their operational capacity, sustainability, access to markets and green economy, while supporting the employment of vulnerable groups of people, which will contribute to their social and professional reintegration. At the event, special attention was paid to agricultural and energy cooperatives as potential Social Enterprises.
The project activities and goals, as well as the event itself – Round table “Challenges and opportunities for development of the social economy in the Republic of North Macedonia“, was promoted as part of the show Studio 10 on TV 24, where a representative of the project team presented the problems faced by the actors in Social Entrepreneurship (Creators of the legal framework, founders of Social Organizations, representatives of relevant institutions and others), but also the ways to deal with them.
