Monitoring visit to the Association ECO LIFE Gevgelija within the project Support to Social Enterprises by following the principle “Leave no one behind”

The team of the project Support to Social Enterprises by following the principle “Leave no one behind” on 30.11.2022 (Wednesday) held a monitoring visit and meeting with the Association for environmental protection and education of children and youth ECO LIFE Gevgelija.

The association is “Employment of vulnerable groups of citizens in the production of eco tiles for outdoor use and establishment of a system for proper management of waste plastic and its maintenance“.

The project, which will be implemented in 9 period month aims to contribute with employment of vulnerable groups of citizens in the production of eco tiles for outdoor use and the establishment of a system for proper management of waste plastic and its maintenance. The project will contribute to improving the living conditions of people from vulnerable categories who will have the opportunity to be employed within the project.

Other aspects that the project will contribute are reduction of waste plastic in the Municipality of Gevgelija; raising the public awareness of the advantages of social enterprise development and the inclusion of vulnerable groups in the community and establishing cooperation and networking with associations, private and public enterprises in order to improve socio-economic conditions.

The project is funded by the European Union.
