Monitoring visit of Akvaponika company, grant beneficiaries for the project “Village for the city, city for the village” within the project Support to Social enterprises by following the principle – Leave no one behind

Last Friday, on 25th of November we visited Green Republic within the project Support to Social enterprises by following the principle – Leave no one behind, who are grant beneficiaries with their project “Village for the city, city for the village”.

Green republic is branded trademark of Akvaponika company. Their mission is to develop products which will meet the different needs of the consumers, by providing and guaranteeing high organic quality and easy accessibility with the moto “Buy organic, buy local”

Main goal of the project is to contribute to sustainable development of the rural environment in Macedonia by strengthening of small agricultural farmers/businesses for production and placement of products and services by costumers needs.

The project has a target to contribute to a long-term sustainable development of the rural environments by Increasing the competiveness and placement of products and services of small agricultural businesses on the market. Development of this economic branch can contribute to increasing of the number of new working places in the primary production but also in other branches in this sector (processing, agritourism) which can absorb hardly employable people.
