CA CeProSARD in cooperation with the Municipality of Butel, to support social entrepreneurship for sustainable green development

On March 23, 2022, representatives of the Municipality of Butel, held a working meeting with the project team of the project “Support to Social Enterprises by following the principle – Leave no one behind“, implemented by the Citizens’ Association Center for Promotion of Sustainable Agricultural Practices and Rural Development – CeProSARD. The meeting was held in the municipality of Butel.

At the meeting, the representatives of CA CeProSARD presented the implemented activities of the association so far and the activities of the current project “Support to Social Enterprises by following the principle – Leave no one behind“. The project is funded by the European Union.

The support of the civil or business sector in the municipality of Butel through the current project is an opportunity for green socio-economic development of the municipality. The project should contribute to cooperation between institutions, municipalities, social enterprises and civil society, in developing green economic growth, environmental protection and improving social services on the territory of our country.

Ms. Svetlana Petrovska, Executive Director of ZG CeProSARD expressed gratitude to the representatives of the municipality, for the stated support for successful implementation of the project and the desire for active cooperation in involving the business sector and civil society working in the municipality of Butel.

The possibilities for future cooperation of the municipality were discussed at the meeting, where the representatives of the CA CeProSARD emphasized the development and cooperation in the field of joint implementation of projects financed by IPA funds. Special accent was placed on cooperation in the field of improving energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources, environmental protection and support of social enterprises by developing generally useful projects and ensuring the development and sustainability of social businesses.
