11 Jul CeProSARD at Consultation Meeting on the Draft Plan for Management of Natura 2000 areas within the National Park Pelister
Representative of CeProSARD participated at the public consultation workshop on the implementation of the 1st component “Enhanced Capacity for Preparation of Draft Management Plans for Management of Protected Natural Areas That are of National and EU Conservation Interest (Potential Natura 2000 Areas)” as part of the Twinning project “Strengthening the capacities for effective implementation of European legislation in the field of nature protection”.
The workshop took place on 12. 07.2019 in the Hall of the Council of the Municipality of Bitola.
The aim of the workshop was to present key elements of the Natura 2000 Draft Management Plan for the National Park Pelister, with emphasis on the manner of application of the requrements related to the EU Directive on Habitats and the Directive on Birds, in regards to the conservation of biodiversity as well as how to incorporate those requirements into the NP Pelister Management Plan.
