CeProSARD started the implementation of the project “Strengthening the education in secondary technical schools in Macedonia through introduction of educational programs for SDGs “

The project was officially launched on January 1, 2018. With duration of six months it aims to „improve the knowledge and skills of the students and the teachers in the secondary technical schools in the country through integrated preparation and introduction of educational programs for SDG in the educational process”. The involvement of all stakeholders in the project will enable development and their promotion; it will support partnerships towards joint actions and will contribute to the global processes in this area.

The target groups of the project are teachers and students from the secondary schools with technical profiles (construction, mechanical and electrical engineering) in Skopje, Gostivar, Tetovo and Kriva Palanka, local self-governments, CSOs that work in the area of sustainable development, as well as teachers and students from the secondary schools in the country.

The Grant Agreements signing ceremony was organized on January 12, 2018 at Meeting of the grant winners where representatives of all five projects were invited.

The project is implemented through a grant from the SEEDLING program of the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe. The program is funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) through the Austrian International Cooperation for Development (ADC).
