24 Jan CeProSARD together with CDPPR made it possible to hold the founding assembly of the LOCAL ACTION GROUP – LAG POLOG LEADER
On January 24, 2019, CeProSARD together with the Center for Development of the Polog Planning Region organized the founding assembly of LAG “Polog – Leader“. The LAG Polog Leader is composed of civil society organizations, the business sector and the institutions that work and belong to the municipalities of Tetovo, Zelino and Brvenica.
At the event Ms. Sonjica Gjorgjievska from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy explained the importance, the current situation with the LAGs in the Republic of Macedonia and the future strategic development policies of MAFWE in this area. After the exhaustive answers to the questions asked by the founders of the LAG, MAFWE representatives left the event. Mr. Fatmir Saiti, Director of the Center for Development of the Polog Planning Region was elected Chairman of the Founding Assembly and held the session in accordance with the submitted Agenda. Representatives of the local units of the Municipality of Tetovo, the Municipality of Brvenica, and the municipality of Zelino, as well as the representatives from the civil and business sectors contributed and showed exceptional cooperation with the lawyer Mr. Darko Djartovski for the establishment of the LAG.
This event was carried out within the framework of the project “Capacity Building for Sustainable Development of Local Action Groups – LAG in EU Integration Processes – BUILDLAG“.
