23 Nov Study Visit in Granada, Spain within the project Capacity Building for Sustainable Development of Local Action Groups – LAG in EU Integration Processes – “BUILDLAG“
From 20-23 November, a group of 10 participants from Macedonia, together with 2 representatives from LAG UNA, Croatia were on a Study Visit in Granada, Spain within the project Capacity Building for Sustainable Development of Local Action Groups – LAG in EU Integration Processes – “BUILDLAG“.
During the study visit the participants had a meeting with representative from the Regional Government of Agricultural and Rural Development which is the responsible body for the functioning of the local action groups in the region. The group also visited several local action groups in Andalucia – the Local Action Group ALTIPLANO (Baza, Granada); the Local Action Group COMARCA DE GUADIX (Guadix-GRANADA) and the Local Action Group Lecrin – Temple-Costa where they met with the Presidents of the local action groups and discussed the way of functioning of the LAGs and the implementation of the LEADER approach. The group also had a chance to visit several business which are members of the local action groups and better understand the way of collaboration between the LAGs and the private sector.
