Education with classes for sustainable development carried out in the secondary school SGGUGS “Zdravko Cvetkovski“ – Skopje

On 30 May 2018, educational program with classes for sustainable development was carried out for the first grade students in architecture in the secondary school “Zdravko Cvetkovski” in Skopje. The classes were conducted by the teacher Angelka Mihajlovska within the subject “Basics of construction” on the topic “Hydro-engineering”.

The activity was implemented within the project “Strengthening education in secondary technical schools in Macedonia through introduction of educational programs for SDGs“. The project is implemented by CeProSARD in cooperation with several secondary schools in the country, and is supported by REC and ADA.

Our team witnessed a greatly prepared approach, methods and forms of teaching, as well as interactivity of students. Some of them – Sara Nikolovska, Ana Spirkovska and Viktorija Jakimovska – also had own presentations on this particular topic.

The interest shown by the students encouraged us to deepen the cooperation also in other activities, so with the support of the school management and the teachers, we decided to jointly organize the final event of the project in their premises on June 7 2018.
