Environmental assessment and Preparing Application for “B” IPPC Permit for Aradiko Kop DOOEL

CeProSARD as consultant in the field of environmental protection developed an Integrated Environmental Permit “B“ for the needs of Aradiko Kop DOOEL import-export s. R’zanichino Petrovec, co-financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The consulting services that were implemented during the project were divided into two phases, namely: – The first phase where an assessment of the existing situation was made and second phase where Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) was performed with assessment and measurement of pollution emissions. During this phase, the Consultants used their own measuring equipment in order to process all input data and to prepare studies and elaborates (setting up the project, performing calculations and draft measures) in their own work premises.

The result of the project is the prepared ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND PREPARATION OF APPLICATION for “B“ permit for Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC). The overall analysis and implementation of the proposed set of measures for the protection and sustainable management of the environment and the obtained data were entered in the template of the document for Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control B license in accordance with the Macedonian legislation. The document has been produced in Macedonian language and submitted in electronic and hard copy to the competent institutions – the Municipality Petrovec. This provides an opportunity for improving the efficiency of resources and environmental management in the environment of the firm ARADIKO KOP DOOEL import-export from the village of R`zhanichino Petrovec and reduction of public responsibility costs by avoiding penalties for environmental pollution.

In accordance with the improvement program and the recommendations covered by the integrated environmental “B” permit and the proposed measures and systems, the benefits and the dynamics of the return of investment, as well as the companys development strategy, the expected benefits of the project will provide: selection and implementation of mitigation measures that arise directly from the production process; introduction of measures or improved techniques of operation and upgrading of the existing equipment that will contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution. More competitive offer, which will directly affect the further improvement of the companys operations expressed by improving the market position, recognition and participation on the market where it will be recognized as an example that follows the global trends for environment protection and climate change.

With its activities, it will positively influence other businesses in this sector. The introduction of the improvement program will have direct positive implications on raising awareness of the wider public awareness taking into account the diversity of the clientele and, of course, the habits of the employees.
