The event was organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) within the project “Advancing Environmental Justice in North Macedonia“ funded by the UNDP Global Program for Strengthening the Rule of Law, Human Rights, Justice and Security for Sustainable Peace and development.
The strategic areas within the framework of the National Development Strategy were presented and discussed: “Good Governance and Rule of Law“ and “Green Transformation“ with reference to the current situation, strategic goals and priorities for the next 20 years as well as environmental justice. Access to environmental justice, the challenges in dealing with environmental crime and the definition of proposed measures to increase the promotion, protection and advancement of the right to a clean and healthy environment in our country were also discussed in accordance with the priorities established in the National Development Strategy.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”5936,5938,5946,5944,5948″ img_size=”full” column_number=”3″ grayscale=”no” images_space=”gallery_with_space”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
