The initial meeting within the project ZeNH Balkan – Towards zero energy hospitals in the Balkan region was held in Xanthi- Greece

On 13 and 14.02.2018, an initial informative meeting was held in Democritus University of Thrace in Xanthi, within the project ZeNH Balkan – Towards zero energy hospitals in the Balkan region.

The ZenH Balkan project is supported by the Secretariat of the European Commission, INTERREG project, Thessaloniki – Greece, from December 2017 to November 2019.
Participants at the meeting were representatives from CeProSARD; Alba forest – Center for Forest Studies and Consulting from Albania; Sofia Energy Center Ltd from Bulgaria and The Cyprus Institute Ltd from Cyprus.

The meeting was used to familiarize organizations with the objectives of the action as well as to inform about the possibilities and the manner of their involvement in the implementation of the envisaged activities. The general conclusion of the event is that the key actors will jointly act in implementing the project activities to facilitate the implementation of the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) by defining the characteristics and standards for zero energy hospitals in the region Southern Balkans.
