15 Aug OPEN CALL – Procurement of a Consulting Company for Production of Video Material
In the framework of the three projects implementing under EU action entitled ‘Support for the Deinstitutionalisation Process in Social Sector’ aims to support the process of deinstitutionalisation in favour of community-based services. It is an EU funded Grant Scheme to support the process of deinstitutionalisation, the implementation of sustainable community-based living and community social services in accordance with the objectives and implementation plan of the ‘National Strategy on Deinstitutionalisation (2018-2027)’ – in order to better raise public awareness of our work, strengthen our partnerships and improve advocacy efforts, the projects “Together for introduction of more opportunities and respect” (TIMOR); “Supporting the resettlement of persons with intellectual disabilities from the residential institution of Demir Kapija into community based supported living settings” and “Getting a Life – Deinstitutionalisation of Residents of Demir Kapija Institution” would like to recruit a Macedonian based company to help produce promotional and educational video material on the topic of Covid-19 virus.
Overall Objective
The overall objective of the assignment is to produce one video that will be used to increase public awareness and to better inform of the importance of implementing measures for self-protection and to demonstrate the proper way of implementation of the restriction and protection measures in everyday situations during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the importance of social-distancing in the relations with the different key audiences in their everyday life.
The assignment is part of the proposed advocacy, dissemination and promotion activities in times of pandemic in the joint document sent to EUD and consists preparation of a promotional video material to advocate the importance of de-institutionalization process and to emphasize the needs of people with learning and intellectual disabilities in COVID-19 pandemic situation. The video material should be adapted to the understanding of the people with learning and intellectual disabilities, children and general public – developed with professional methodology by following easy to read
guidelines.
Specific objectives
The contractor should develop one video (max length up to 120 seconds) with Macedonian subtitles.
Contractor requirements
The production companies applying will be evaluated against the following criteria:
• More than 3 years’ experience working in similar field – demonstrated experience and competency in development of promotional videos; documentary /film production;
• Experience in producing videos related to disability or mental health field (advantage);
• Technical capacities to ensure smooth, on time and high-quality production;
• Experience in working with non-government organizations and EU funded projects is welcome;
• Clear articulation of capacity and skill, and innovative approaches to carry out the assignment
Application Procedure
Applicants are required to submit the following:
• Technical Proposal: Short letter of Interest, stating why applicant considers itself suitable for the assignment; overall concept of the proposal with A4 explanation of foreseen scenario;
• Brief methodology on the approach and implementation of the assignment;
• Proposed time-frame; Personal CVs of technical personnel proposed for this project highlighting qualifications and experience in similar projects;
• Work references – company portfolio and examples of past projects, preferably of a similar size and scope (description of projects 3 pages max and at least three examples of videos in DVD format or online link);
• Financial proposal indicating consultancy fee and a breakdown of expenses (unit price together with any other expenses) related to the assignment
