20 May A coordination meeting held in the premises of the Аssociation of special educators and rehabilitators of the Republic of North Macedonia – ASER within the project “Together for introduction of more opportunities and respect – TIMOR“
On 20.05.2021 a coordination meeting was held with the project partner “Together for introduction of more opportunities and respect – TIMOR“ – Аssociation of special educators and rehabilitators of the Republic of North Macedonia – ASER and representatives from the engaged organisation for preparation of personal resettlement plans and preparation of the users for the DI process in Special Institute Demir Kapija.
The undertaken work activities and the progress of activities was presented by the Macedonian Montessori Association, as well as the necessary coordination efforts between the involved entities for timely and quality preparation of persons for the de-institutionalisation proces – in accordance and following the time-frame of the opening of small group homes within the project.
The meeting continued with a discussion on the approach for mapping future social service providers and their role and support within the project; the process of mapping potential locations for the establishment of small group homes for supported living in the community across the country in accordance with applicable regulations and legal framework and ongoing project activities that need to be finalized.
