CA CeProSARD in cooperation with the Project for support of social enterprises and institutions

On 24.03.2022 the project team of the project “Support to Social Enterprises by following the principle – Leave no one behind“, implemented by the Citizens’ Association Center for Promotion of Sustainable Agricultural Practices and Rural Development – CeProSARD held a working meeting with the project team from Project for support of social enterprises and representatives of several institutions and experts. The meeting was held at the premises of the Center for Social Enterprises.

The purpose of the meeting was to develop cooperation and synergy with institutions and projects, as well as to review activities and harmonize projects to avoid duplication of activities, to support social entrepreneurship to be sustainable. The meeting recognized the potentials of social entrepreneurship, the developed links between local institutions and social enterprises.

Social enterprise indicators, social enterprise declaration of social mission, profitability of economic activities, profit distribution, accountability / transparency were discussed, with a recommendation to focus on existing social enterprises that need to be developed to ensure their sustainability.

Representatives of the MLSP, FITR, a number of experts from several fields, as well as representatives of the two EU-funded projects participated with their proposals, suggestions and discussion.
