Monitoring of large carnivores in National Park “Pelister“ within the project “Support for improved management of natural resources in the National Park Pelister“

On 23 April 2019, experts engaged by CeProSARD, in cooperation with NP Pelister employees, made an inspection and control of the locations and photo traps on the territory of the Park within the Activity Monitoring and protection of large carnivores: brown bear (Ursus arctos), lynx (Lynx lynx) and wolf (Canis lupus) as key species according to Annex II of the EU Directive on habitats in the National Park “Pelister“.

This activity is implemented within the project “Support for improved management of natural resources in the National Park Pelister“.

The project is funded by the European Union and is implemented through UNDP.
