Informative sessions on the establishment of Green Building Councils throughout the countries of the Western Balkans

We would like to announce a series of informative sessions aimed at discussing the establishment of Green Building Councils across the countries of Western Balkans. We are starting in Kosovo, followed by North Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. These sessions mark a significant step towards sustainable development in our region.

What is a Green Building Council?
A Green Building Council is an organization that promotes sustainability within the building and construction industries. These councils work to influence policies, educate professionals, and implement green building standards that lead to more environmentally responsible and resource-efficient structures.

Why is this important?
Establishing these councils is more than just an environmental commitment; it’s a crucial movement towards healthier and more sustainable living spaces. Through education and advocacy, Green Building Councils help to reduce ecological footprints, foster economic growth, and create healthier environments for future generations.
