20 Nov Information meeting with the Mayor of the Municipality of Karpos within the project “Clean energy for clean air“
The Mayor of the Municipality of Karpos, Mr. Stefan Bogoev and the representatives of CeProSARD on November 20th in the premises of the municipality held an informative meeting as part of a series of initial meetings organized by the project team with the targeted municipalities, within the project “Clean Energy for Clean Air”.
At the meeting, the project manager briefly presented the project activities as well as the importance of proactive participation of various stakeholders in the field in order to successfully achieve the expected project results and to establish a network among the entities which will continue to cooperate and tackle challenges related to the aeropolution in the Skopje planning region in the future.
The mayor also gave recommendations to the project team for mapping different stakeholders which would take part of a round table discussion which is planned to be organized in January and pointed out the current measures and activities the municipality implements in order to raise awareness among the citizens and involve them to take actions, especially in the months of high air pollution.
The project “Clean energy for clean air“ is implemented with financial support from the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia through the Program for financing the program activities of the associations and foundations for 2019, with duration of 6 months.
