14 May CSO CeProSARD continues with activities from the project “Strong civic support for effective application of the energy policies in the EU accession process”

Within the project “Strong civic support for effective application of the energy policies in the EU accession process” in the past period was assessed the attitude and capacity of CSOs working in the field of environment related to their participation in the processes of implementation of energy policy.
Organizations from all over the country participated in the assessment by filling out a questionnaire. The results indicate the need to strengthen capacity and participation of the civil society sector:
- in preparation for national energy and climate plans;
- preparation of an action plan for sustainable energy development and climate change;
- preparation of planning documents for utilization of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency at national and local level and
- possible mechanisms for civic participation in planning the development of energy efficiency at the local level.
Based on the obtained results, the training topics will be targeted and planned to be realized by the end of this month for the organizations that participated in the assessment.
