CA CeProSARD respectfully celebrates and honours the International Rural Women’s Day, every October 15 in the past 13 years since the establishment of the organization.
This 2021, respecting the measures for protection against the Covid-19 virus, we celebrate women and girls living in rural areas by sharing photos of beautiful memories of past events organized by our organization on this day.
The first International Day of Rural Women was observed on 15 October 2008. The Day recognizes “the critical role and contribution of rural women, including indigenous women, in enhancing agricultural and rural development, improving food security and eradicating rural poverty.”
