21 Jul Donation of disinfectants for surfaces and personal disinfection, personal protective equipment and UV-Gard indoor disinfection equipment for SIDK
The project implementation team of the project “Together for introduction of more opportunities and respect”- TIMOR stands with the global community to help limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus and ease the related hardships faced by the communities in which we live and work. Therefore, on 21.07.2020 we organized an event for making a donation of disinfectants for surfaces and personal disinfection, personal protective equipment and UV-Gard indoor disinfection equipment. The funds are a donation from the European Union through the project “TIMOR” – aiming to assist the PI Special Institute Demir Kapija in the crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic, after determining their needs.
The project overall objective is to provide de-institutionalisation of persons with disabilities from the residential institutions into community-based supported living settings by providing innovative specialized social services.The project aims to provide new innovative, collaborative, participative social services for the resettled persons with disabilities and to raise public awareness about advantages of de-institutionalisation and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the community.
The project is implemented by CeProSARD as lead applicant, with co-applicants:
• Association of Special Educators and Rehabilitators of the Republic of North Macedonia,
• Special Institute “Demir Kapija” PI,
• Municipality of Demir Kapija and
• Foundation Loza Sweden
Duration of the project: January 2020 – January 2023
