30 Aug Inception meeting was held within the project “Fostering Rural and Environmental Tourism through Smart Tourist Information Centres” / FRET-STIC
Yesterday (30.08.2018) in hotel Karpos, Skopje took place the Inception phase meeting (2nd Project meeting), attended by the project partners CeProSARD and Regional Development Agency – South within the project “Fostering Rural and Environmental Tourism through Smart Tourist Information Centres” / FRET-STIC.
The meeting followed as a foreseen activity after the signing of the Agreement between the project partners on 07.08.2018.
The overall objective of the action is development, promotion and presentation of local and regional tourism through innovative approaches and systems for improved rural and environmental experience. The objective will be achieved through creation of strategic tools that allow improved comprehension of visitors’ demands, simultaneously serving as mechanisms for enhanced interregional cooperation – among various aspects of the industry, government, business, CSO and thus offer improved supply of ‘harvested’ tourism potentials, customized to target groups. Further, the action aims at creation of an enabling environment for strategic reach and benefit not only from national and regional markets, but also from new international markets in the tourism industry.
This EU supported project with duration of 24 months was officially launched on 15 may 2018. It is implemented under the IPA CBC Program between Macedonia and Kosovo.
