Second partnership agreement from the RECONOMY program with KNAUF was signed

It is our pleasure to announce that on 12 September 2024 we signed the second contract with market actor Knauf as part of the project “Energy efficiency in construction and renovation in the Western Balkans” in the frame of the RECONOMY program.

The purpose of the contract is to contribute to the implementation of the RECONOMY program, specifically striving towards:

• Improving access to the labor market for youth, women, and other disadvantaged groups by developing their skills through training in energy efficient design and sustainable building practices.
• Conductive hands-on learning environment for continuous education, enabling industry professionals and blue-collar workers to acquire the expertise needed to meet modern construction standards.

By establishing Regional Training Center, objective is to deliver Inclusive Skills development by training for energy efficient design and sustainable building practices tailored to different learning needs and levels of access.

RECONOMY is a regional inclusive and green economic development program of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in partnership with CeProSARD and others in the Eastern Partnership and the Western Balkan regions.
