Successfully completed story of support for Social Enterprises and support for employment of persons from vulnerable categories

At the Center for social enterprises in Skopje, we held the Final event of the project ” Support to Social Enterprises by following the principle “Leave no one behind””.
At the final event, we presented the achieved project results and the importance of social enterprises in the country. The project worked to improve social entrepreneurship and promote social enterprises in the country by supporting and employing vulnerable groups of citizens.

Honorary speakers at the event were Mr. Miha Pezelj, representative from the European Delegation, Ms. Svetlana Petrovska, executive director of CA CeProSARD, Ms. Ratka Pemova, communication expert of the project “Support for the Development of Social Enterprises” and representatives from the 6 regranted organizations.
During the duration of the project, the project made it possible to re-grant 6 organizations that operate in different fields, while enabling them to strengthen their organizational capacities through 7 months of tailor-made training according to their needs and the area in which they operate, as well as increasing their capacities through the employment of people from the vulnerable categories.

The project provided financial support and employed a total of 12 people from vulnerable groups of citizens, thus contributing to their social and professional reintegration into society.
At the event, the need to continue the process of improving the working conditions and capacity of social enterprises in the country and support the development of potential and existing social enterprises to significantly increase their operational capacity, sustainability and access to markets, while supporting the increase on the employment of vulnerable groups of citizens was addressed.

We express our great gratitude to the re-granted organizations, as well as all stakeholders in the process for their mutual commitment to improving social enterprises.
