23 Nov Monitoring visit of the Association ESE in their office, implementers of the POGON project as part of the re-granted organizations within the project Support to Social enterprises by following the principle – Leave no one behind
The second of the series of monitoring visits was realized on November 22 in the premises of the ESE Association – Association for Emancipation, Solidarity and Equality of Women.
Within the re-granting process of the project Support to Social enterprises by following the principle – Leave no one behind the association started with implementation of the project POGON
Pogon, in their words, is a unique e-sales platform (www.pogon.mk) that strives to create a sustainable workplace for women who have suffered domestic violence, to improve the quality of products prepared by women-led informal businesses, to strengthen cooperation between formal and informal businesses, as well as to support the development of local products and services produced in a non-mass manner.
Main object of the sales are local products, services and food and by implementation of the project they aim to create formal working place which will merge all informal producers of products and services and will provide space for legal and more extensive promotion and sales. The concept will also develop skills for women suffered from domestic violence, so they can become economically independent.
The project is financed by the European Union.
