CA CeProSARD presented the projects “Together for introduction of more opportunities and respect” – TIMOR and “Support to social enterprises by following the principle – leave no one behind“ to the Mayor of the Municipality of Karpos

On December 7, 2021, representatives of CeProSARD had a working meeting with the Mayor of the Municipality of Karpos – Mr. Stevce Jakimovski.
During the meeting, the activities of CeProSARD in two projects were presented to the Mayor:
– Together for introduction of more opportunities and respect” – TIMOR, and
– Support to social enterprises by following the principle – leave no one behind

The best way for contact of stakeholders who would contribute to the realization of the envisaged project activities was discussed.

The Mayor shared his view on the problem with the implementation of the process of deinstitutionalization of persons with disabilities from residential institutions in housing units with community support, by providing innovative social services, both in his municipality and in the country.

He also expressed interest in further contacts in order to support the development of new and existing social enterprises to strengthen their economic independence by following the principle – do not leave anyone behind, in order to improve the operational capacity and sustainability of existing and new social enterprises and job creation for vulnerable and people with disabilities.
