22 Jun Coordinative meeting within the project “Support for improved management of natural resources in National Park Pelister”
On June 22, 2018, the partners of the project “Support for improved management of natural resources in National Park Pelister” held a coordinative meeting, attended by Project Leader from CeProSARD, Ms. Ivana Petkanovska, the Director of the National Park Pelister, Mr. Amet Axhiu, as well as Ms. Violeta Sotirovska – representative of the Park that will be directly involved in the realization of the activities.
The attendants reviewed the activities, their status, and the implementation work plan for the planned 15 months.
The representatives of the park expressed their enthusiasm to provide the necessary technical and logistical support for the successful realization of the field activities that include monitoring of large carnivores, marking of two mountain biking trails, during the collecting and processing data for promotional materials, as well as for the preparation of the feasibility study for utilization of water as an eco-system service in NP Pelister.
This meeting preceded another event organized in the Info Center of the NP Pelister, the same day – the Debate on the Spatial Plan for the National Park Pelister – Draft Plan and Public Debate on the Report on the Implementation of the Strategic Environmental Assessment from the implementation of the Spatial Plan of the Pelister National Park (Draft-Report).
